The research project "Development of a novel slurry mixing process and an innovative inclined mixer for the production of high performance concretes" aims at optimizing the production of concrete mixtures by new mixing processes and technologies. Main points of the presented innovations are:
Development of an innovative suspension mixing process to prevent agglomeration of particles and achieve faster, more homogeneous mixing.
Use of a single mixer instead of two separate ones to reduce the amount of equipment required.
Targeted energy input in the respective mixing phases to reduce energy consumption.
Adaptation to different types of concrete, such as self-compacting concrete (SCC), high-strength concrete (UHFB), acid-resistant building materials, fiber concrete, lightweight concrete, or self-cleaning concrete.
