Anovis core components
Software and hardware for comprehensive acoustic EoL testing
Simcenter Anovis is a complete system consisting of hardware and software for automated fault detection in the production line. The components vary depending on customer configuration and application scenario. Essential core components are:
Integration and automation
Via "Test Connect", Simcenter Anovis enables simple integration into PLC-controlled production lines using industry protocols such as OPC UA. The test systems are automatically synchronized with the control processes, increase production efficiency and support quality assurance through direct communication with the production systems.
Data acquisition
Hardware components enable the collection and processing of data from various signal sources such as sensors, microphones and accelerometers. These components are connected to software for the acquisition, management and analysis of large amounts of measurement data.
Signal processing
Simcenter Anovis includes extensive signal processing functions such as filtering, transient analysis, spectral analysis and time-frequency analysis. These functions help to process the measurement data to obtain meaningful information about the noise and vibration characteristics of a system.
Acoustic analysis
The Anovis analysis software enables the investigation of acoustic phenomena such as sound intensity, sound pressure level and sound power. The Chameleon software component also enables intelligent evaluation of results beyond the "OK" and "NOK" classes. The system thus also covers uncertainties by detecting conspicuous behavior of the test specimens outside the defined criteria and classifying test specimens as OK with a warning. This also allows unknown/new faults to be detected or negative changes in the limit range to be recognized.
Reporting and visualization
Anovis provides a graphical user interface where current as well as historical measurement data can be loaded and analyzed to identify anomalies, compare parts/batches, etc.. This facilitates communication and exchange of information between the departments involved and supports data-driven decision making.
