Related disciplines to vibrations
Vibrations are excited by kinetic, kinematic, flow-induced and/or electromagnetic forces. An influence on their behavior has besides the here mentioned also their stiffness and mass. Therefore, to fully penetrate a vibration, we move to the physical discipline from which the excitation originates. The most common simulative methods of these disciplines are, often in combination, the finite element method (FEM) as well as the multibody simulation (MBS).
