Novicos originates from a scientific environment and maintains close cooperation with the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH) as well as numerous other scientific institutes.
As an innovative SME, we have always been involved in various research projects. But also beyond that, we are in a permanent and lively exchange about the latest research results and findings. This experience from research, science and practical application enables us to support our customers with the most advanced methods and approaches in almost all areas of technical calculation.
In many development projects there is a research project
Research is essential for some development projects, as it creates the basis for truly innovative solutions and new technologies.
Together we define your requirements and goals and work on them systematically. Our methodical approach improves the quality and reproducibility of the results. You are informed about project status at all times and benefit from a goal-oriented approach that saves time and resources.

What innovation are you working on?
We discuss your current challenges, provide tips for a structured approach and discuss whether and how we can support you. Innovation is a sensitive commodity.

Our commitment to research and teaching
Our vision: Completely penetrate acoustics
Our managing director Dr. Sören Keuchel is personally involved with the teaching assignment for the lecture "Technical Acoustics" at the TUHH. Hereby we continue the teaching assignment from the Institute for Modeling and Computation, which was led by Prof. von Estorff. In addition, we accompany scientific work in this subject on research topics relevant to practice in order to support research in acoustics. The offers have now been migrated to the Institute of Structural Mechanics in Lightweight Design of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Benedikt Kriegesmann.
Current research activities

Novicos at the IGA 2024
Meet Novicos at the Isogeometric Analysisis in St. Augustine (USA) and discuss with us about the calculation of complex exterior space problems.

Paper: Vehicle loudspeaker simulation: structure-borne sound paths with blocked forces
Get to know our models for early acoustic simulation in vehicle development.

Paper: Numerical investigation of a new cabin wall concept
In a BMWK-funded project, Novicos is working on the development of cabin walls with special acoustic damping properties in the low-frequency range.

viaMeta
In the viaMeta project, Novicos is conducting research together with other partners in the field of vibroacoustic metamaterials.
