Novicos is a spin-off from the Institute for Modeling and Computation at the Technical University of Hamburg and traditionally maintains very close contact with universities and research institutions. As an SME with a scientific background, we are involved in numerous research projects and work with our national and international partners on complex issues relating to calculation and measurement methods.

Research activities
Our developments include, for example, methods for accelerating FEM/BEM calculations in acoustics, a model for acoustic optimization using transfer functions, energy-based finite elements for calculating structural vibrations, and models for numerically determining acoustic properties of innovative materials.

Novicos supports universities in the selection and configuration of CAE software for research projects. Since the funds are usually granted once, the software equipment must be sufficient for the application amount, even if sparingly.
