Non-linear nature of flow phenomena

Here, we first benchmark the results of a simplified form against a suitable real measurement. This creates confidence for more challenging or complex questions that cannot be easily validated by measurement.

Numerical acoustics for turbocharger noise

As sound sources in automobiles are continuously decreasing, other sound generators, such as flow noise in turbochargers, are becoming more prominent. Novicos developed a pragmatic modeling methodology for predicting the sound field using a turbocharger from BorgWarner as an example.
