Ideally, a Digital Twin is already created after the concept phase, as soon as the first technical drafts are available. We support you from the blank sheet on to fill the Digital Twin with life and to detail it until it is ready for decision.

Through our expertise/experience, we make reasonable estimates or assumptions that give structure to the twin (while classifying and considering the relevant physical effects). For existing prototypes/products, we fill the Digital Twin with life via real measurement data.

Mapping realistic operating conditions

Mapping of an operating scenario in terms of vibration, acoustics, strength, flow, or electromagnetics. Examples are an electric motor or an air conditioning system in operation. From here on, we can make the digital twin "tangible" via a VR environment and facilitate decision-making.

Advance design

We analyze, evaluate and verify simulation results. After the evaluation of all results formulate proposals for the pre-design of components.

Validation 

We validate simulation results via measurements on physical prototypes.

This also includes processes that can only take place in closed or intact systems and that cannot be "disturbed" during operation by measuring devices, for example.

Measurements provide precise and realistic data that can serve as a basis for simulations. The use of such data helps to increase the accuracy and reliability of simulation results, which in turn has a direct impact on the quality of the developed product.

Verification of simulation results

Measurements provide the most objective method to evaluate the accuracy of simulation results. When measurement results and simulations match, this increases confidence in the simulation and prevents costly mistakes or misconceptions from being made during product development.

Time/cost efficiency

Even though simulation is always more efficient than a prototype when developing solution variants, it is not always efficient to derive every required value by calculation. If an existing product can be measured, real measurement data for simulation models are not only more precise, but also more efficient to collect.
