From the source to the receiver

Each NVH phenomenon can be described by the source, the transfer path and the receiver. By correlation and coupling of these levels we realize a valid description.

Source

Whether drive components, tire-road contact, wind noise or auxiliary units - the sources of various vehicle noises are diverse and dependent on boundary conditions. We work with you to develop the right solution in the test bench or simulation model (1D, FEM, CFD).

Transfer path

With the right methods, you can influence the NVH properties in a targeted manner. We analyze natural vibration shapes or transfer paths (TPA) for you experimentally and/or simulation-based. Subsequently, we develop solutions such as the optimization of topology or topography, absorbers, bearings, damping or attenuation systems.

Receiver

Vehicle occupants perceive sounds and vibrations in the vehicle as receivers. Therefore, an evaluation adapted to human perception is required. With psychoacoustic quantities, head-related transfer functions, listening tests or empirical perception models, a wide variety of approaches are available - we will be happy to support you.
